GlaxoSmithKline pharmaceuticals rewards Nicorette users who keep using their products long after they were supposed to have weaned themselves from nicotine. It's interesting, and telling, that pharmaceutical companies can do stuff like this without raising an eyebrow. If it were about nicotine, shouldn't this be pasted all over the internet, and shouldn't elected officials, CDC and FDA be all over this, howling loudly? I guess if it were actually only about attempts to 'addict' people, then yes. But clearly it's about big money trying to preserve market share, and using 'useful idiots' and paid-off government officials to demonize products that threaten that market share.
